Walt Disney Studios Park

Walt Disney Studios Park Entrance

"To all who enter this studio of dreams... welcome. Walt Disney Studios is dedicated to our timeless fascination and affection for cinema and television. Here we celebrate the art and the artistry of storytellers from Europe and around the world who create the magic. May this special place stir our own memories of the past, and our dreams of the future." -- Michael D. Eisner - March 16, 2002

Geek's Thoughts & Observations
I had set a very low bar for the Studios park based on comments from others.   On a first glance the park is not all bad.. it is just awkward and feels “cheap” in parts.     By awkward I mean the layout is different than most Disney parks.  The indoor Studio 1 entrance which is sort of the Main Street does not really feel like one and when you step into the main part of the park it feels small and disorganized to me.  By “cheap” I guess  I mean flat and lacking detail in many areas.  It had some of that Disney California Adventure 1.0 feel to it to me.   Hard to believe that within a year Disney opened Disney California Adventure, this park and Tokyo DisneySea.. out of the three cousins DisneySea is lightyears ahead of the other two in terms of detail, immersion, and atmosphere.  Disney California Adventure has been upgraded substantially. Wonder when or if they will do a massive overhaul to this park?
