Disneyland Resort Hotels

The Disneyland resort consists of three resort/hotels that are owned and operated by Disney. The first is the Disneyland Hotel which is currently undergoing a major rehabilitation. The second is the Paradise Pier Hotel (formerly known as the Disneyland Pacific Hotel and before that as the Pan Pacific Hotel). The newest resort is Disney's Grand Californian Hotel. This is located between DCA and Downtown Disney and claims to be located inside the park. I say claim because technically you can call it bordering I think. This resort will be opening in January 2001.

The Geek's Suggestions

Unlike Disney World where staying onsite is a must, at Disneyland you have a much wider array of hotels close to the Disney property to choose from. The Disney hotels all have that extra special touch, but you do end up paying for it and its really up to you whether it is worth it or not.
