Fishing at WDW is a unique experience. Where else can you fish around the world in a two hour tour, or sit in a boat and relax as the morning sun reflects off Cinderella's castle or fish around the world. The Disney lakes are well stocked and they offer several types of excursions to go on.

Times vary by season so call Disney to see when they are offered. Also fishing excursions are included on some Disney vacation packages. You pay by the boat and I believe can take up to six people. There is also a two guest boat available and I believe a reduced rate if you go alone.

There are three main excurisions.

Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon: You can be picked up at Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge, the Contemporary, the Polynesian, or the Grand Floridian

Crescent Lake: You can be picked up from the Yacht Club Marina, the Boardwalk, the Swan/Dolphin dock

Lake Buena Vista: You depart from the main marina or you can be picked up at Port Orleans, Old Key West, or Saratoga Springs

I really enjoy the early morning excursion out of the Yacht Club. You usually get to go into EPCOT and fish around the World Showcase Lagoon... this is great!!
